37c out of stock, will 39c suffice?

Hello there.. Greetings from Turkey

Long time lurker here.. this is my first post.

From all the posts I've read, I'm dying to try out a slant razor. It seems that 37c is out of stock.. What are your opinions on 39c? I've read some posts that they are both equally good, and just feel different. Any body own both and have a preference?
Some swear by the 39c as the best razor they own.

I have the 34c, and which shaves great. (i also have the EJ89) But sometimes I don't get why the 34c has such a short handle.

Maybe the reason 37c is so popular is because it's closely related to its famous cousin, the 34c??

I stand to be corrected but I think the 37C and the 39C are the same head but just with a longer and heavier handle. I chose the 39C because I like the long handle.

Correct. The handle is the only difference. I prefer the shorter handle. But some love the longer one.

37 and 39 have the exact same head. the only difference is the handle design and weight. different handle styles/grip/knobs etc.

37C is the slant version of the 34c
39C is the slant version of the 38C

having tried both, I prefer the 37C.

I bought both mine Merkur Futur and 37c from a eBay polish seller called open_razor.

He still has 37c available.

I actually prefer my 37C. Seems to be more nimble and easier to swing around. No complaints about my 39C either, but I think I prefer my 37C by just a whisker.

It's just a matter of preference. I liked the longer barber-pole handles better so I sold my 34C and 37C and kept the 38C and 39C.

I did the same. Once I got used to the length of the 37C I found it to be more manouevarable.
