35 shaves in

About 35 shaves in now and things are really starting to come together. I can now get a DFS with no DE clean up whatsoever. No nicks, cuts, or irritation. My stropping is improving as well. It is quite rewarding.

I want to thank Doc226 for his advice and patience with me. I sent my only straight to him for a honing "examination" only to hear he feels our edges are very similar, though I'll admit, the edge from his JNAT feels smoother than what I get with my coti with water. Gonna try coti with oil next. Is it ok to admit that here?

Thanks again, Alfredo. It is amazing how differnet shave 35 was from shave 20. That being said, it still takes me about 45 minutes to shave.

Yes, Doc's JNAT edge is forcing me to consider spending more money on stone. Of course, Ill be saving some money in the long run, right? HAHAHAHAHAHA

You can take a coticule edge pretty far with practice. That said, I'm not one to ever try to discourage somebody from buying a stone.
