After asking for advice here on similar brushes to my Simpson 57 I ended up just going for a couple of cheapy FS brushes from the Bay, really all I needed was couple of extras so I had some to rotate and dry during our winter.
Ended up with a 20 and a 24 knot pure badgers both with defective handles.
The 20 cost $12.50 including shipping and had a crack or line in handle and is smaller than I am used to but great to use.
The 24 cost $26 including shipping and is a very similar size and shape to my Simpson 57 and I cannot find any defect.
Anyway just wanted to say how impressed I am with both of them, comfortable to use and excellent to lather with.
Its also so nice to have a dry brush for a change.
Looks like I might add a couple more so thats me stuffed as until now brushes were the only thing I only owned a couple of.
