I noticed that there are 2 Gillette Black Handled Adjustables with the same date code. Both are adjustables with TTO doors, but one has a longer handle. What is the difference between these two? I looked on the Mr. Razor site, but couldn't find the shorter handled version on there.

I am assuming your talking about the Gillette Super Adjustable model. It came in a short and long handle version. I assume that the only difference was handle length and a corresponding amount of weight reduction from having a shorter handle.

Yes, they both look like Super Adjustables. I didn't expect that both versions would come out in the same year.

Its called product diversification. Basically if one product fails for whatever reason if you have others on the market they probably wont fall pray to whatever market force brought down the other model. Kind of like diversifying your investment portfolio.
