1910 Gillette? find at the Portland Antique Show

Picked this up at the Portland antique show yesterday. According to the serial number B447424 it's from 1910 but I didn't see this handle listed on Mr Razor's site so I'm not certain which model it is. Anyone?

Also got a Barbasol double edge razor (quite beefy), a blue handled Lady Gillette (1971), a broken Stahly Live Blade razor (doesn't vibrate and not sure if it can be repaired), and a Schick Repeating Razor (missing the magazine).

Here are some before and after pictures. Unfortunately. there is a lot of brassing and a couple gouges in the handle but it's functional.

very nice! the abc sets started in 1907.

What he said.

Let's see the others!!

Don't be in a rush to junk the Stahly, as some guys say they will ramp up if you soak the handle in mineral oil. Even if the handle is seized for good, keep the head. That's one of the most comfortable shaving razor heads ever made. On ANY handle. One of many of our all time favorites to mix and match onto custom handles!!

I'd like to see the repeater too. I have a couple, but I'm not familiar with the parts and pieces and the nomenclature regarding the different bits. I hear they are easily refilled with new blades. I just haven't had the time or understanding to try one of mine yet.

The Stahly turns but the coil inside has come off the center post and I don't know if that's repairable. Maybe take it to a clock shop?

I haven't cleaned any of these up yet.

Shaved with the Gillette last night. The tapered handle was a little hard to hold. I'm used to my bulldog handle. All in all a great shave.
