1910 ABC Empire Pocket Edition 504-A Gun Metal?

This 1910 beauty has found his way to me. But I´m wondering about the case: is that Gun Metal? It´s dark green like military. It dosn´t repainted.

Yes sir, that is indeed the gun metal case. Very nice find Achim. These don't turn up very often at all as you know. And to have it in the Empire set is even more of a spectacular score...beautiful.

Boy if cooncatbob could scan that top part and use a laser cutter to make new cases in gun metal to go with his relpated dark aluminum bull mastiff razors as a special christmas presentation...that is beautiful.

I've never seen an actual GunMetal case, so I can't be of any assistance there, but it looks like Ray was able to answer your question. That really is a beautiful case and razor as well.

These cases where pressed and even today, that would be the best way to manufacture them. To achieve that depth with a laser, it would require a pretty substantial piece of material to start and then the final product would still be very have by case standards not to mention the cost of such a job.

Dang, the look of this is just so cool I wish it could be reproduced a little easier. It makes a super presentation.
