Happy International Pipe Smoking Day
What are you enjoying to celebrate?

Today, I packed my briefcase with a tin of MacBaren HH ODF and a tin of Blakeneys Best Bayou Sliced to help get me through the work day. After work, there is a special meeting of the Vancouver Pipe Club, for which I have secured a tin of Balkan Sobranie No. 10 (Gallaghers); while the club has secured some McCranies Red Flake from '83, and a blend of dark-fired Burley, air-cured Indian leaf and some Lakeland Va from Steve Fallon.
I wish there was a decent pipe shop I could go to.
Gawith tobacco are pretty moist. When I had some 1792 I air dried it for 30-35 minutes before packing. At the moment I'm puffing on some ribbon cut bulk house brand called Mild Burley from a Dallas B&M, loaded in a rusticated Savinelli Tevere.
Later I may try to keep some rubbed-out 1792 going...I haven't had much luck keeping that lit as of yet.

I had great plans to open up a new tin or break in a new pipe, but in the end I smoked some Carter Hall in my fathers old Kaywoodie 188. I did how ever print out "A Pipeman's Handbook" and put it in a binder for easy reference.
Fishing and the pipe go together. Right?
I think anything and pipe go together

Same here. And thanks for the confirmation. This way, I can claim that I don't have a problem ....
