What's new

How many shave brushes do you own?

2 pure badger / 1 super badger / 2 boar (for the moment, as I only get along with my Omega 48, which has seen 1/3 off the use and isn't nearly as soft/splayed Semogue 620 - which looks cooler, too), as one might receive early retirement, since we don't always see eye-to-eye. I just recently switched to face lathering (which just isn't as satisfying as bowl lathering to me - but it saves a lot of time. So maybe it'll perform as good as it looks with that technique. Also last but not least...I was able to find just the brush/stand at L'Occitane, in my local store, so I procured a good looking, and good performing Plisson (sans a real backbone, but amazing in every other aspect. So that's it for today, at least, until a Shavemac, Thater, or a Simpson find their way into the den.

4 in my rotation and 1 that I almost never use.

Shavemac Silvertip D01
Shavemac Silvertip
Simpsons Colonel
Semogue 610
Mühle Pure Badger (my first brush, have not used in a long time).

I'm about to order a synthetic (EJ or Mühle) for travel purpose.

Next target? A Chubby 2 or a Duke 3.

3 Badger - H.L. Thater 4376/3 Silver Tip, AoS Fine, Matthew Marting Silver Tip
