Help please. Vintage Plisson. What do I have?

Hello all,

I received the brush you see here in a lot/box of knickknacks recently, and I'm wondering a few things about it:

How old is it?
What is the material of the hair?
What is the material of the handle?
Why does the bottom part unscrew?

To me it appears to be quite vintage, with high mountain white badger hair and perhaps a horn handle. But I am by far not an expert in this field.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Nice brush, the upper part is horn for sure, and i cant quite tell but I suspect the base will be as well. Badger hair for sure. Also make sure you dont lose the sticker on it as you clean it up!
