It is from a 1930's British New #25 set. It comes in a brown bakelite box. Not sure about the plating.Yes, the razor looks great, and that lead to my question.

The box is a cufflink box from Sugarloaf Key Island in Florida. I burned our family crest into it with the cheap chinese laser I used to make my etched Gillettes.
