Hey gents i am brand new to the forum and pretty new to straight razor shaving. I saw this zomg site today with a soap called captain of industry. before i purchase it i would love to know if anyone has tried or any of there other products

If your new to straights I would use a soap you are familiar with and that you can lather well. The lady thing you want to do is be fighting a new soap AND concentrating on the straight shave as well.
If you don't have any soaps or creams and are completely new to wet shaving I can suggest the following as good starter soaps
Proraso
Cella
RazoRock (there are lots to choose from here)
All of the above are priced very reasonably for what you get and they are all known to crest lather pretty easily with a pretty wide margin for error.
Michell's Wool Fat is my favorite, but some struggle with making it lather so it may be one you might want to come back to once your straight razor technique is solid.
