Aristocrat/Gillette #4
Shavemac (like lathering with a cloud!)
Kiehl's Pour Homme wash
Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna shave cream
Trumper's limes aftershave
Montale Amber Blue
Excellent two-pass shave with touch up.
I haven't shaved with the Sienna cream in quite a while. I don't really like it. I like the soap and the soap does a great job.
But there's something about the cream that just doesn't feel right to me. Hard to be specific - excellent shave, no burn or nicks. The lather was beautiful. But every time I've shaved with the cream it just felt "wrong". The act of shaving itself just felt different and not quite right.
I feeling a little floral this morning. The Aristocrat with the Derby was unfortunately the worst shave I've had in a while. Stopped after two passes. They must be incompatible or something. I'll either put the blade in something else or toss it. Nice looking razor though...

I haven't used the Palmolive in a while, I almost forgot how slick and lubricating that cream is. I have to say I got a smooth irratation free shave, BBS of course.
My SOTD will probably be the same for the next month to give my face time to adust to the new regime. Preshave was wife's fancy conditioner (Santa is on tap to bring some of the good stuff), add a mug full of Taylor's Lilac Shaving Cream and a Merkur HD loaded with a Derby, followed by C.C. Bigelow's witch hazel. And that recipe made a smile you couldn't wipe off with a brick, Great Shave.

First time using the Super Adjustable, wasn't sure which setting to use. Started with 2, then 3 and finally 4. Ended up shaving too much (mild irritation). Will use the Merkur tomorrow and try it again on Friday, maybe with a different blade.
