A friend from Colombia gave me a bag of Cafe Sello Rojo whole beans, and I just brewed my first pot. This is one of the finest coffees I've tasted, and much better than other Colombian coffees I've tried. I generally prefer coffee that isn't roasted too dark, as it obscures the regional differences between varieties. The roast of Sello Rojo is just perfect: light enough to let the unique flavor shine through, but dark enough to be robust.
Now, if only I could find an online source to order more. I've found places selling Sello Rojo already ground, but haven't found the whole beans yet. I'll keep looking, and I'll post a link if I find one.
