My den is pretty boring, so I figured I would take a picture of two things at the beginning of the year and at the end of the year, on a kitchen scale.

First up is my BDU (blade disposal unit). It currently weighs 107 grams.



Second is my brand new styptic pencil. It weighs 11 grams.



I will weigh and photograph them at the end of the year.

Day 4 was giving a polsilver SI a second chance in my little bastone. Day 3 was a bad shave with this combination, but I wanted to give it a fair chance. Fail. Huge irritation and a horrible shave. Perhaps one of my worst ever. Blade dumped, and am moving to something milder to give a chance of healing.

Day 5: Gem 1912 with VDH luxury unscented. Ahhh. My face is feeling better already. Tomorrow perhaps an injector....
