Great way to start the weekend at SOTD, gentlemen. Thank you once again for exceptional photographs and spot on shave descriptions. Each contribution was heartily appreciated.

@Smooth Steve - What a striking photo, Steve! Excellent composition ... and so fitting....
@Jnatcat - Handsome high angle pic, Will.
@blexa - Such an inviting shave photo. The Doug Korn is a beauty.
@shm - Placement is very attractive, Søren. Like the handle on the NEW. Neat stone.
@alfredus - Arresting photo. Nice treatment. Love the masks.
@Clint64 - Comely close up, Clint. Razor and brush always make a great shot.
@Cash_Stronomer - The anodized Maggard is perfect for a colorful picture. Maybe I'll use mine in the next day or so. Like that background.
@Dagwoodz - That's a fine green sepia pic, Josh. Quite apropos.
@mcdig - Impressive picture, Mark. The more I see of that brush the more I want one. I imagine the Stork handle is a bit heavier that the original General. Does it perform better?
@Bobcat - Sweet looking shave, Bob. That's a really nice brush.
@lindyhop66 - The indistinct background enhances your layout.
@skypsyd - Wood and leather and a sharp blade ... what a quintessential shave moment, Dave.
@azwetshaver - How is the Sec-sy Willy holding up, Gabe? Any change of opinion?
@evnpar - Nicely toned photo. Like the parallel arrangement.
@troy71mo - The E2 is definitely an aggressive injector, Troy. It can be an experience using one. Nice lighting and, yes, vivid color.
@ChrisVanMeer - Certainly a fine line up and an enviable shave to boot, Chris.
@Doug57 - Excellent overhead POV shot, Doug.
@sarimento1 - Beautiful picture, Murray. Take a close look at that "animate" razor ... with the open blade/mouth and the seeming eye....
@eezee - 2-fer out of the park on the scentometer, Erich: Florida Water/Mont Blanc and VIBR/D&G The One!
@Smooth Steve - Really love this treatment, Steve. It's like the black hole breached the dimensions and the fabric of time and space are shredding....
@prometeo - Quite an attractive array. Neat C&E shave bowl.
@Noire - Wow! Great effect. First class set up! Excellent shave.
@Atalk - Striking picture, Mike. Like the cinematic framing.
@xxlpack - Fine shave portrait. Nicely balanced alignment.
@120inna55 - Exquisite photo, Matt. Really like the gray back- and foreground. Razor and brush are beauties.
@EzraCobb - Superb vertical shot, Jamie. The enhanced version with saturated colors and the intruding frame is quite eye-catching.
@Ajwien - Like the tones of this fine sepia photo.
@carm-gs - Nice close grouping. The Nero Ardesia brush is quite handsome.
@CFP412 - Welcome back, Ryan. Attractive close up of one fine looking shave.
@cmh737 - Excellent placement, Chris. Such a tantalizing shave.
@ram57 - How did the Xpec aftershave pair with the Captain's Pipe?
@sandstone - Exquisite picture, Phil. Beautiful razor. Love the bowl with its reflections.

Good night gents. See you soon.

Grifetto Rules!

Mastro Livi Grifetto is an outstanding straight razor. The more I use it, the more I like it. It gives a super smooth and close shave for an outstanding BBS! The more I use Grifetto, the more I am convinced this is a great straight razor both for beginners and experienced shavers alike. Not to mention the fact it the "Grifetto" name is a tribute to Perugia - the city where I live in - and its coat of arms (the mighty Gryphon!) and, of course, it is also the city where Mastro Livi lives in. I also wanted to use the beautiful Mastro Livi Club 2016 Shave Brush to celebrate the new "Mastro Livi Club Straight Razor 2017" initiative. I am sure this year too Mastro Livi will surprise us with another beautiful and magnificent straight razor! What a great shave!
