Got the G1000 out for a spin (haven't used it for ages ), stuck the Plat in and offt we jolly well went. Palmolive soap has got to be the most under estimated soap out there, its so cheap but so good, anyway the Plat and the Palmolive joined forces and a nice DFS was had.

Yesterday afternoon the postman delivered a straight that had been sent out to be honed. Professorchaos generously offered a free honing in the Contributors' corner and it is a price hard to resist
So of course today I had to test it - nice , he has put a really fine edge on it - Thank you very much.
It also showed that I still have to hone my honing skills.
