I'm a Christian father, husband and servant. I grew up in Kansas, which explains the username. I lived there until I moved down to Texas in 1999 to take a job at Dell. In September 2014, I took on wet shaving as a new found hobby/pampering/passion. This was the first time I had ever really gotten into any kind of "beauty care" for myself. I stumbled on wet shaving and Badger & Blade while researching Dollar Shave Club and Harry's.

I joined the 2015 annual shave purchase restraint, which led me to start experimenting with fountain pens and improving my handwriting in January 2015. I now have two hobbies thanks to B&B!

I also enjoy running, hiking, reading (look me up on Goodreads), and computer gadgets.

The quote above describes my current interest level in wet shaving as of August 2016. I still enjoy my daily shave, and after 599 days of purchase restraint, I know I have plenty of gear to keep me satisfied. I enjoyed my time at B&B, and I'm looking for my next thrilling adventure! class="vw-list"
