My Double Edge Blades

Listed in order of preference

  • Gillette 7 O'clock SharpEdge
  • Iridium Super Extra Stainless @
  • Polsilver Stainless @

@ - These blades are no longer available. When my supply runs out they come off the list.

I have settled on the SharpEdge as my regular DE blade. No need to search for anything else as these work very well for me and I even get to use them for 14 shaves without any problems. Must be the hand stropping that I do after each shave.

My Single Edge Blades

Listed in order of preference

  • Ted Pella PTFE Coated SE Blades

''"These are the blades I can live with"

My Brushes

  • Crabtree & Evelyn Best Badger Brush
  • The "Ever Roddy" - An Ever Ready 300 - Refurbished by the "Knotty Badger". 20 mm Silvertip Badger Knot set for a loft of 53 mm
  • Ever Ready 50 N
  • Ever Ready C 40

"Bought the C&E BBB based upon some recommendations I found at SMF. Found the very nice and plain Ever Ready brush at an antique store and just had to have it. The knot was very loose do I sent the brush to The "Knotty Badger" for fixing. Got a really great brush to go along with my C&E BBB." For more pix of other Knotty Badger Brushes go to this link http://www.razorgeek.com/coppermine/thumbnails.php?album=8 The Knotty Badger aka Rodd can be reached at: [email protected]

My Soap

  • Tabac
  • Honeybee Spa's Ye Old Barbershop
  • Mitchell's Woolfat aka "The Fat"

The Tabac was the first of my soaps & creams. I had smelled it before and the scent brought back some old memories of my youth and young adulthood. Of course the HB Ye Olde Barbershop smells just like one and 'The Fat' was obtained in a trade of sorts.

The C&E Creams were the first ones I tried. Never used a cream before that. Discovered the SCS Creams after a great experience in obtaining some cream samples from St. Sue. I liked some of the TSD sample from the "Queen of Blades" at TSD and bought two of them as well as 3 suggested creams from the members of TSD.
