Tom's of Maine

Tom's of Maine was incorporated in 1970. The company manufactures all-natural oral and body care products which now including soap, toothpaste, mouthwash, and deodorant. At one time, they also manufactured peppermint/menthol, honeysuckle, and calendula shave creams which were advertised as brushless, in a toothpaste-like tube. B&Bers found that the product warranted the use of a brush,[1] but reviews were quite favorable.[2] Colgate-Palmolive bought the company in 2006. In 2009,[3][4] the company discontinued production of all shave creams, citing rising manufacturing costs[5] and a "lack of customer support".[6]

Tom's no longer manufactures any products related to shaving.[7]
