From Alton Brown. He calls it "Taco Potion #19"
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons hot smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Put all of the ingredients in a small jar and shake to combine. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
Method
- Sautee a med. chopped onion until clear
- Add 2 cloves of pressed garlic
- Add 1lb. Ground Beef and brown
- Add 2/3 cup beef stock, and let it thicken as disired.
Use this in tacos or burritos or whatever!
