The Ronson Razor was a double edge safety razor made by Ronson Products, Inc. (USA) and Ronson Products, Ltd. (Great Britain). Both companies were a subsidiary of Art Metal Works, Inc. and were headquartered in Newark, New Jersey. Ronson is mostly known for making cigarette lighters but in addition to their double edge safety razor, they also made electric razors.
The Ronson Razor used a thick, proprietary blade. The razor features a built-on sharpener roller which one struck in a downward motion with the palm of the hand to sharpen the blade. The razor's handle contained a large spring that allowed one to push up on the handle to rotate the blade-containing head. The blade is held in place by a cap and screw.
