Pacific Shaving Oil, generally known and referred to as PSO is the primary product of the Pacific Shaving Company (based in San Francisco). PSO should not be confused with PreShaveOil, as PSO is a Shaving Oil. PSO is, however, commonly used as a pre-shave application for those looking to give their skin an extra protecitve-barrier in addition to shave cream/soap. Gentlemen with sensitive or dry skin may benefit from the use of PSO as a pre-shaving treatment.
