Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap

Company Info

Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap Ltd has been in business since 1982[1], succeeding the chemist (pharmacist) Fred Mitchell of Bradford, Yorkshire,[2] who first produced lanolin soap in the early 1930s after noticing that the hands of local sheep shearers and wool sorters were exceptionally soft.[3] The soaps contain natural lanolin from wool fat, which can be soothing to dry or sensitive skin. The soap is still made according to the original formula. There is a whole range of Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap, including products such as hand and bath soaps, shampoo, and shaving soap.

Company Mission

Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap claims to use only the highest quality of ingredients and its products are not tested on animals.
