Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 lbs mild pork sausage
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 or 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth or bouillon
- 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup raw rice (do not use instant or "minute" type rice!)
Method
- Crumble the sausage into a skillet and brown it.
- Pour off some of the fat.
- Add the rest of the ingredients, cover and simmer for about an hour, on the lowest possible heat.
