Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/8 cup kosher salt
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 1/8 cup mustard powder
- 1/8 cup granulated garlic
- 1/8 cup cherry Jell-O powder
- 1 tbs. cayenne pepper
- 2 tbs. coarse ground black pepper
Method
- Mix all ingredients and use as a dry run on your pork ribs. Or add about 1/2 cup of water to 2 cups of rub to make a paste.
Use sparingly, this stuff has got some kick. If your beef/pork comes out a bit too spicy, just dab a little bit of BBQ sauce to "cut" the spice. This stuff is great!
