What's new

Your personal workspace or desk pics.

I'll firstly admit it's not outdoorsey, so feel free if someone ones to move this to a more appropriate area.
Let's see your desks...
I have several around the house. Here is my main one for work and quiet. $bardeskclosed.jpg$bardeskopen.jpg
This my garage desk, used mainly when I want to smoke a cigar and work.

And then my drafting desk where I lay out plans or knock out a quick drawing or detail. Kinda OG

Anyone have any good fly-tying areas?
Brent.

Wellllll, yeah, though I did notice some forum-appropriate items in the pics. For, example, I see you are well-prepared for any impending zombie attacks whilst sitting at your roll top, and you mentioned tying your own flies, presumably at the drafting table? :001_cool:

Mine has some B&B-appropriate items on it. From the left: some watches, a knife and leatherman, some waterproofing spray that I need to put away, some pen ink, a headlamp and flashlight, a pen case and a bag of small bike parts.

Here's one side of the bench where I spend an inordinate amount of time:

and across the room, another integral part of my work space:

Nice working at home and having this in your basement. Note: they are not always this clean!

I don't want to be caught by surprise.
I haven't tied a single fly in twenty years, but would like to get rolling again at some point 73M.

Clarifixer is a stud. Declared and true. Got any pics of your work?
Ha! Well, I don't know about that, but I've got some nice tools.

I do repairs and overhauls on high-end pro clarinets as my livelihood (how's that for an obscure profession?), so I need to be able to handle all sorts of situations. Here is a set-up for machining tone hole inserts to replace the originals in cracked instruments:

Here's my small, but efficient, workspace.

I love that roll top desk picture. The attorney that I do a ton of work for had bought one, although a bit smaller, to go with their decor at their law office. All though I'm an independent contractor I use the roll top at their office two or three days a week.

Don't have a pic. of it though.

Clarifixer, it's good to see that there are still some handle crankers around. I thought everything was CNC now. Yup, I was a handle cranker years ago but probably not as good as you are.
