Suwada Carbon Steel Nail Nipper. Very sharp, very strong, I'm sure will last a lifetime and more.

Can also be used for pruning small trees.

I quite like the MUJI nail clippers, I have both sizes. Very solid heavy weight and nice and sharp, made in Japan.
Well priced too for the quality, they seem popular (the person at the checkout said they sell out quick, faster than they can stock them), so I had to visit the store a few times before I got them

I tried some Kai finger nail clippers but they left such a sharp edge that a file had to be used to round over the nail. Went back to my old, cheap, made in Taiwan Trim clippers.

I shaved a fortune
I agree with @Georgi about the plastic bump on the Feather small clippers but they are the sharpest and do the best job on my nails. I put up with the less than stellar feel of the handle to get the best results from any nail clippers I've ever used.

This style, since about 1965.

Usually from good German cutlers. I think I've also had less expensive Swiss sets that were decent quality. I have them stashed around and about. Nightstand, car, ski bag, dopp kit, etc.

One came with a glass nail file, which I like very well indeed.

I second this! The Muji clippers are surprisingly good. I have both sizes, but prefer the small ones. Also have Victorinox clippers that are very good too.
