What's new

You San Diego shavers all right?

Little shake rattle and roll. No biggie.

Crazy. I was in Glendale and felt it for about 20 seconds. It wasn't much there, but definitely made the whole family stop for a few seconds. Luckily, Dr. Lucy was on TV within the hour and I knew all would be alright.

I live in San Diego and it wasn't that bad. At first, I thought it was my dog scratching herself behind the couch. Having moved here in the last year, my wife and dog got to experience their first California earthquake.

It was a little bigger and longer than any others I've experienced here. Our chandeliers were swinging back and forth and the floor felt like it was rolling. Definitely a bit of a weird feeling.

I'm north of SD in Orange County, but it sure did shake us too. I was standing at a grocery store, and it felt like I was light-headed. (like I felt when I nearly fainted after giving blood once.)

Took a few moments for my brain to figure out the world was shaking and was not randomly feeling sick.

Glad to hear everyone's okay. We moved from California and while I miss many things, I can't say that's one of them.

Reports are coming from farther east that there is extensive damage to homes in the El Centro region and Interstate 8 West is shutdown because the road apparently dropped or cracked. Haven't heard of any injuries. Power is out for a lot of people.

Some minor building damage in San Diego, but nothing too bad so far.

I'm beginning to wonder if the earthquake was related to my cracking a fresh bottle of Lilac Veg this morning... if so, sorry!

Glad you all of you are alright so far! My wife heads down to the Solar Turbines Office in San Diego once in awhile and has come to really like it there. Best of luck to all you stay safe.

Dod.

Thanks. I guess we are on watch for the next couple of days for another significant quake. Let's hope it is smaller and everyone stays safe.
