What's new

You know what's awesome? La Toja.

Yep, great stuff. I finished a tube back in August but I won't replace it yet. My den is overflowing with creams and soaps and I want to use up some product before buying more.

I also love the stuff, both original and sensitive. The soap stick is good too. I have yet to try the AS but I hope to soon.

I have the original stick and a tube of La Toja sensitive. Both perform well and have great properties. I love the scent of the original or regular I don't detect much fragrance in the cream for sensitive skin. I have to get the AS or ASB.

I have the stick, the cream, the foam, and a tub of Manantiales. Awful stuff.

What about it do you not like? I could see why some wouldn't like the scent. It's more an atmosphere scent than a "nice" scent It smells like the ocean to me. Not something I'd smell everyday.

Sorry. I actually love everything about it - including the canned foam! That is why I have it stockpiled in most of its forms!

I've got the cream, the stick and the as balm. I haven't tried the cream yet but I'm very happy with the balm, it's pretty much become my numero uno. See what I did there? I know, I know.

I have been really impressed with La Toja's soap stick as of late. It lathers easily and is rich and slick. I really like the added mineral salts which seals nicks and cuts during the shave and eliminates any need for the added step of using a mineral salt block rub after the shave.

 How is the foam version? Is it like Barbasol in a can essentially, but La Toja?
So much better than Barbasol, which I used for nearly two decades! Denser foam with the great La Toja scent, mineral salts, and the best post shave feel of any canned product I have ever tried!

I have a tube of Sensitive. It's good stuff and it has a nice clean scent.

I may be crazy.... and I haven't used it for a while.... but I seem to remember thinking that the La Toja Sensitive cream had a scent very reminiscent of GFT Eucris. Now, I've never smelled the Eucris cream or soap, just the cologne.... I may be crazy. Can anybody else confirm or deny this? I've got most of the La Toja line (I really went on a Spanish-Portuguese kick this past summer).... their products have that kind of salty, mineraly feel to them. I love them.
