I found a list in the wiki of soaps in the UK, just wondered if anyone was from near York and had some tips on shops to visit? I'll be taking the train into York from Glasshoughton tomorrow and spending the day out there. I don't remember any places shave related but thought I'd ask.

Anyone near York sell MWF?

Yes, Burgins on Coney Street stock Kent (aka MWF), Trumper, Floris and many other top brands, badger brushes etc etc.

Not sure on Sunday opening times however.

+1 for Burgins although I'm not sure they sell MWF in Kent branding. I believe they are more for Kent brushes. Fenwicks is also excellent for fragrances. There is also a Barbers(not sure of name) in Swinegate (turn left out of The Slug and Lettuce and walk 50-60 yards to the end). L'Occitane is also in York.

Just outside York there is an outlet mall, with a Penhaligon's outlet shop. Huge reductions to be had, it's well worth a visit. It's next to the park and ride, so you'll be able to get a bus there from the city centre.

Well, showed up to York.

Burgins was a nice shop, they do in fact have Kent soap both refills and in a wooden bowl. TOBS, Jagger, Trumpers. Brushes/razors/bowls/fragrances, good shop.

There were a couple barbers inside York walls that sold product. One is Cube for Men, it was closed today but it looked like it had better prices than Burgins (they only had tobs and trumper I think though). There was also a barber shop though I forget it's name that sold some products, Arko sticks were one of them.
