Yet another brush buying ques

Since I have at least 2 of everything else, I'm thinking my 1 brush needs some company. I am currently using an Omega #63171 badger that I got for $30 on amazon. It's a nice soft brush with no loss of hair. A great starter brush, but I think it may be too soft. I don't know what the Omega knot size is, but maybe with a smaller knot or firmer brush I would be able to control it better and not get so much lather in my left ear. I'd like move up to a higher grade badger (under $80) and was looking at the T&H Silvertip Style 1, small. I was wondering if the T&H or any other brushes might fit the bill...firmer, smaller knot, good soap lather maker for a bowl user.

What about a Rooney 1/1 silvertip? Should fit a sub 80$ budget. Smaller, soft and still firm. Great for soap and both face and bowl lathering.

Thanks, I thought the Rooneys were out of my price range. I'll check it out.
