Worst Shave Ever.

After having a very god shave yesterday with no pull/irritation i pulled out my shavette with the same blades and lathered up my face with a new soap.

I placed the razor against my face and did from my left sideburn to my cheek.

OUCH!

It pulled a tugged like anything. I though... Hmmm, Must be this Soap.

So i quickly washed the lather off, re-lathered my usual palmolive cream and placed the razor against my face again.

OUCH!

It pulled just as much than the first time.


Any ideas of what the hell could be up with me?

Its only had 1 shave and it normally holds up for 3-4

Yes, but it's not shaving, right? Your face is still the same. Your prep is the same... you checked that already. Are you shaving differently? No? That only leaves one thing unless I missed something.

Maybe the Missus used it to cut the tape on the box she got in the post.

I used a shavette to slice open a tent once. They're good for more than just shaving

Occam's razor applies to... uh... razors, too. Change the blade. ;-}
