World's most expensive beer/ Nick's favorite

i can't even begin to imagine what that beer would taste like. look at the way he's pouring it, and there's still no head. i would take a nice creamy guinness head any day over that... begin flaming.

I would like to meet the guy with big enough cojones to suggest shoving a bottle of beer into roadkill at the marketing meeting.

That brewery come up with some CRAZY beers!! In fairness, I'd love to try one out of curiosity. Must be weird to sip a beer like a fine short.. But for now I'l stick to my ice cold Leffe  Gotta love Fridays!

I would personally hesitate to call this beer. At 55% ABV you're looking at a distilled spirit, and beer put through a still is whisk(e)y. Not sure why they're calling it beer at that point, it's not.

No, can't be a beer at the percent alcohol. All the yeast would have been long killed off before that percentage. The either cut the beer with pure grain, or distilled the beer.

Man, I would love to have a road kill bottle.

All of the Brew Dog "extreme" beers are freeze concentrated. That is they are partially frozen and as much water is removed as possible, leaving behind everything else. They must have done it a few time for this beer. The only super high gravity beer that is actually fermented all the way with yeast is Samuel Adams Utopias. Clocking in at nearly 30%, its quite a feat. They spent like 10 years developing a strain that could tolerate that high amount of alcohol.

"no guys we only make 12 and sell them for nearly $800 each, people will buy it cos it's rare and expensive"

OOOOOh, I love Leffe Blonde! That's what I drink when I am in Belgium. The Kwak is interesting, though. But Leffe? The same recipe since the 12th century! That's class, and the beer sure is nice... creamy and smooth wth a nice bouquet. Very satisfying! I haven't seen it in the US.

Ahahaha, oh wow.

And now I'm seriously putting thought into spending that sort of money, just to have that hideous thing in my liqour cabinet...

The waiting list must be a mile long by now!
