Witch hazel

Anyone recommend a good one I can buy locally that does not contain alcohol? Searched High and low and was not able to find one at my local drug store that did not contain alcohol.

+1 on the Thayers and Humphrey's, they have alcohol free versions. I would, however, suggest that you not discount plain regular WH like Dickinson's or even a generic brand. The alcohol content in these is only 14% by total volume which is not a lot. I use generic and I can't feel or smell the alcohol in it.

If you're worried about any burn, I can attest that the Dickenson's Witch Hazel has zero burn factor. It's very nice going on and soothing.

My local pharm. has Thayers, and Dickensons (?sp) however neither of which are alcohol free, and of course there is the store brand which is the same.

Infernoorange, I am not worried about the burn, I actually embrace it, I am just trying to cut down on the amount of alcohol I use since it is so drying.

I prefer using a splash of something and if need be following up with a scent free moisturizer, however with the current weather and increase in heating needs, its like a desert.

If you have a natural foods store near you, you should be able to find a wider range of Thayer's products.

Thayer's is the only one I've used that has an alcohol free version. Even the Thayer's Original that has alcohol in it I do not find to be very drying.
