So I have been using witch hazel after my cold water rinse and before my after shave balm and my acne problems are almost gone! Anyone else have this regiment ?

Plain old witch hazel has a smell all of it's own. It does not smell very good by itself. I put a couple of drops of cologne in the bottle of WH and the bad smell is not as bad. You can get it at any drug or grocery store.

Plain WH doesn't smell great, get a scented one. You can usually find Thayers at a GNC, or at a lot of health food type stores.

I live in the states I bought the Wh prep pads at target and they don't smell all that bad .
Yup.. Walmart. Anywhere. I use it everyday post shave. I am a bit old for acne as well but then again, maybe I don't have it because of the which hazel. 
I use Dickinson's from a small spray bottle after every shower (twice a day). I didn't have problems with acne, but have oily skin and a lot of small blackheads. My complexion has never been better. I would also highly recommend the CeraVe foaming facial cleanser.
Actually, I have two witch hazels (!) and switch off depending upon how I feel that day.

It's a brand of WH available at CVS here in Massachusetts. A little more expensive than the store brand, and a lot of people are turned off by the smell. It is 14% alcohol. That also turns some people off. Alcohol doesn't bother my skin, though. I put it in a 3oz bottle, and use it after my morning shower/shave. I follow it up with a AS splash. In the evening, I shower, wash my face, spray on some WH, let it dry and then use some CeraVe moisturizer. I'm 33, and my skin hasn't been this good since I hit puberty.
I plan to, but I keep forgetting to add them on when I order shaving stuff. I want to try a couple of different Thayers. Alcohol free, rose, medicated, etc.
Maybe better. I haven't tried it, but my understanding is that Thayers is the "Cadillac" of WH.
I use Thayers Unscented Witch Hazel after every shave before following up with Kramperts or Myrsol. I put it in a small spray bottle. Great stuff in my opinion. Cost effective and lasts a long time. I picked mine up from WCS.
I buy alcohol-free witch hazel from The Homestead Company. It's steam distilled, so it's just water and witch hazel. Not a fan of putting alcohol on my face.
Witch hazel keeps my skin from getting irritated, it has a permanent home in my medicine cabinet.
