Williams with Simpson 2-Band Super Chubby

I have used a CH-1/2S with Williams. It works nicely, but I have never had that much trouble lathering Williams with any brush, whether boar or badger. If you don't already face-lather, give that a try.
High end brush, with a very low end soap. 
Does anyone else think that is a comical mismatch?? 
I think your Simpson's brush will be very insulted that you expect him to perform at his best with the ugliest girl in the class!!

That's right. It's supposed to be the el cheapo boar having a date with a top class soap!
Mr. El Cheapo Boar is so suave, he can have great success with whomever he is paired with.

Ah, John - now I see why you have trouble with Williams. Let's get the genders clear: the CH-1/2S is most definitely a lady, and Williams is of the opposite persuasion. Can you imagine a lass smelling like he does? Don't you admire the elegant coiffure on the CH-1?
In my experience, young Miss CH-1 Simpson is far too well-mannered to sulk when Williams shows up on her dance card. She smiles and she dances. Perhaps she hopes than MWF or PSGT will be next, but she doesn't let on.
My shave this morning went like this: CH-1/2S + Williams + Mühle R89 + Lord Platinum + Speick splash = DFS.
That's a fine combo right there!
