Wilkinson Sword Blades

I'm just curious to see if my opinion on these is in harmony with the consensus. Anyone have a history of using these blades??

I find the German made Wilkinsons on par with most decent blades on the market. I do like them.

Have not tried them in my new EJ yet but I like them in my vintage Gillettes.

Not very sharp for me. Would not cut when going WTG on one days growth but I found it forgiving on the ATG pass.

I've never had a problem with the German Wilkinson Sword blades as sold at Walmart. But then I also like Derby.

I will only use English Wilkinsons, the older the better (60s-80s best, 90's acceptable). Modern Wilkinsons are but a shadow of their former selves.

I tried them, but didn't like them. Was disappointed. As the saying here goes, YMMV.

Wal mart wilkies I can barely get 1 shave out of.

I've tried many different blades thru sample packs but always come back to my Wilkinsons.
Contrary to what I've read here, I honestly cannot remember getting a duff blade and I buy Wilki's by the hundred.
Always good for 4-5 shaves before Dearly Beloved grabs them for her legs!

Good enough cross section.

I stumbled across a package of the Wal Mart Wilkenson blades and damn near thought I was going to pull my face off. They were in the R41 at the time..maybe that made a difference.
I am glad they work for many people though...................
