Wilkinson blades - made in GB
Several years back my dad and I agreed that the British-made Wilkinsons were the best blades that we tried.
After years of 'the cartridge' use I returned to DE shaving.
Well, a few days ago I got a nice surprise. My dad found in the house about 4 packs of unused British-made Wilkinson blades. Had to be about 35 years old.
I was really curious if they would perform as well as the crop I'm using now.
And guess what? Yes, they were fantastic. Absolutely great. I have some German-made current production Wilkinsons and they are very different, definitely not as good as the British-made ones.
Very sharp, yet forgiving... I wish they were still in production.
