Don't they know we're a bunch of geeks who collect vintage razors that come with nice cases? I know Muhle made that nice metal case for a while. I'm actually lucky enough to have one. Aside from that, though, I don't think any of the modern manufacturers have ever gotten the hint.
Why don't modern safety razor manufacturers realize we want nice metal cases?

Yeah, wouldn't THAT be nice?! I'm betting it could be a small but steady revenue stream for them as well, since you know that we geeks would pay more for a razor in a nice metal case than one in a cardboard box...
Maybe they're trying to keep costs down?

That's exactly what prompted me to make this thread... haha. We're not all THAT talented!
I looked for a long time for a decent/protective travel case to keep my razor from getting banged up on month long travels.
I ended up buying a Chinese Weishi in the blue hinged clam shell case and modifying the case to hold my 37c.
I would LOVE to see anyone come up with some decent cases for razors
