I finally caved and and bought 2 TWSBI's. They write so well I am selling all my Parkers... the fit and finish of these TWSBI's is so far above the vintage Parkers.

Only 2? I expected a "Big Bang" with one each each model and the VACs in each colour!
As for the 51s, anything that old has to be a piece of junk. After all, if they were any good, wouldn't they still be making them.

Actually, I've found that the giveaway ballpoints at my bank are much more attractive and satisfying to write with than either the P51s or TWSBIs!
They're certainly much more comfortable when posted than ANY FP I've used.
