I ordered and received a 30mm Black Badger in a Black Handle last week.

Today I ordered a 30mm SilverTip in an Ivory Handle.

I have been nothing short of amazed at my 30mm x 55mm loft silvertip. In retrospect I would take it down to 50mm loft and make it a pure face lathering brush because that's where it feels so good. As it is I have a great dual purpose brush (bowl and face lathering) that dollar for dollar holds top spot in my rotation.

The Silvertip Badger is softer than the Black Pure Badger, right?

Do you mean 30mm x 65mm? I don't see that dimension listed on the site.

Edit: I think I figured this one out on my own. You must have had the handle drilled an extra 10mm deep?

Bingo, 65 would be way to high for me, but may be perfect for somebody that likes painting on their lather after bowl/scuttle lathering. I can only imaging how soft that would feel, but I'm more of a scrubby feel kinda guy.

I have a 30mm but had it drilled for a 45mm loft. awesome good feeling brush. I just got my black badger 24mm in today!

Got mine Saturday and have shaved with it twice. I absolutely love it, couldn't ask for anything more considering the price.

I have one. Great brush. Softness and backbone; great for face lathering. Quite dense- I use soaps only and with some soaps, the brush hogs lather slightly. But definitely a "top three" brush for me.
