I like a West Indian Lime type scent that has a little bit of spice beneath it.

Man, I wish we had short summers here in Texas. Consider me jealous.
This is where I think pretty much all the British houses go wrong. When I think Lime, I don't think Jamaica/the Caribbean region. I think Mexico, and the limes I use on my fajitas or salsa, a nice tart, sour, aromatic lime.
