Love:
Things that make it lather

Hate:
Menthol, things that make it not lather, high concentrations of EO/FO (slight burny feeling there)

I'm not all that picky. I have some tallow soaps and some veggie soaps and some creams. They all perform equally well once I dial them in. I get rid of the ones that don't.
I also hate hate HATE the cooling feeling of menthol.

Love:
- Coconut oil, almond oil, etc.
- Rose
- Mint / menthol and the cool awakening kick it gives in the morning

Hate :
- Parabens
- Preservatives
- and such

Love:

Shaving oil

Glycerin

Cream that is easy to lather

Fusion ProGlide Styler (I realize most will scoff at this, but I will go into detail in a post in the future. Let's just say this thing might have been invented for me.)

Hate:
Most strong scents (but I'm working on it)

Most lanolin based products. Always thought I might be allergic to lanolin, but found out that is very rare. What isn't so rare is an allergy to the stuff they process the lanolin with--especially with lower level stuff. Or at least that's my current understanding.

Anything that numbs my face before shaving. I have been avoiding menthol, but given the love for it here, I might try a soap/cream with mild menthol to see if I actually like it now.
