Which brush should I get?

I'm considering getting another brush, so that I can have a rotation (of 2 so far).

Right now my choices are:

"The Prince" by West Shaving Products

GBS silvertip

SimplyBeautiful silvertip

Right now I'm looking on Amazon, so if you have other recommendations, please chime in!

Thank you!

Rather than give you a specific brush, maybe you need to look a shaving centric vendors. I am not knocking Amazon, but you can see more in context with good vendors.

Bullgoose - Phil is an excellent vendor.

Shoebox Shave Shop - Gary is an excellent vendor.

Connaught Shaving - Paul is an excellent vendor.

You noticed that I called out the proprietor's name. It is because they sell solid products and provide great service.

There are others as well. This will help provide some more perspective of what is available outside of the Amazon box.

I have the WSP Prince in 2 band. It's a great brush and probably tied for the most used brush in my rotation. Soft tips, nice backbone, I found it a little stiff at first but it broke in nicely. BTW I am a face latherer.

I first found this brush in Amazon but went to the WSP website and to my suprise it was on sale there (20 bucks off), so no matter what brush you choose make sure to shop around.

Along with the sites listed above http://www.westcoastshaving.com and http://www.italianbarber.com are other good sites

I have a Rudy Vey custom with a 2 band finest I think. I love the brush, it's really firm but soft. I have a standard WD silvertip and it's too soft; I get no exfoliation from it whereas I feel that I get a better shave from the 2 band. The bulb doesn't deform when I lather with it (face lather) and it's an all around great brush.

I also have a Vie-Long 13061 and it too is great, lots of exfoliation but I find that the bristles are a little long. I find I have to swirl the brush a fair bit to accomplish the same lather. Still a great brush though, I haven't used my WD brushes in weeks.

I haven't liked the feel of the boar or synthetic brushes I have felt so far. They feel a bit too scratchy.
