Where to find handle covers for Japanese straights

Can anyone advise as to where to find the rubber-like handle covers for Japanese straights or where to find someone to "wrap" them as they should be? Thanks in advance.

Should be? Most Japanese straights are unwrapped.

It's hard enough finding someone to do honing on them, doing custom work on them is even harder. At one time you could find the Tosuke handles for them but that source is gone now. Best bet is use something like parachute cord /silk cord to wrap or bamboo or be creative and find something that works yourself.

I wouldn't say most but depends where it's coming from.
