Where to find a matching belt?

I picked up a pair of Johnston & Murphy shoes the other day. Now I need to find a matching belt. Unfortunately, I've been unable to do so. Does anyone know where I can find one to match? J&M calls the color "teakwood" but the closest color shoe polish is Meltonian Cognac if that helps.

To make a recommendation it would be helpful to see a pic if you could upload one. Teak is not a common color option on belts I've seen.
The Johnson&Murphy website has a topstitched leather belt in saddle tan that might work w/o seeing the shoes. Otherwise Allen Edmonds probably has something.

I am not sure where you are or if you have an Allen Edmonds store in your area. If you do, try them as they have a wide selection of top quality belts in quite a few colors.

Don't get too obsessed with matching each pair of shoes you have with an exactly matching belt. The biggest thing to make sure of, is you wear a black belt with black shoes, and brown with brown.

The next step, is to aim for a "dark brown" belt and a "tan" (or light brown) belt, to match with almost all of your non-black shoes. Since your belt will be three feet away from your shoes, you needn't worry about an exact match, and "similar" will do: thus a tan-ish belt and a mid-to-dark brown one will do.

Toss in a burgundy belt for your oxblood shoes, and you are about done.
