What's new

Where James Bond might keep his straight...

Well, maybe not, he'd have some anti-gravity pod or something. But...

My Boker arrived from Matt via another amazing restore by Glen :ouch1: and I wanted to give it a home (until I find a matching box for it). So I cast around, and found...

It arrived yesterday from Glen. I shaved for the first time with it this morning. Oh sweet Moses, what an edge.

Good thing I've (I hope) got my main bloodletting over with. I could enjoy a really "cream cheese on bread" shave (as opposed to the "dab of butter on burnt toast" shaves I was subjecting myself to a couple of weeks ago!)

Looking forward to stropping up tomorrow. How's your TM going? I haven't dared even touch steel to my "real" strop. It's the practice one all the way for the time being...

Mainly using the practice strop but I've also been giving my SRD strop I bought first a few licks. I actually did get brave and did a few turns on the TM. Then I thought, "What am I doing! I can't endanger my baby!":laugh:

Very nice. I can add that I have one in an eyeglass case and one in a toothbrush-travel-tube. Note to self: pick up more toothbrush tubes.
