Where do you get your news from?

I use google news and have a few custom searchs on it.

Mainly online or radio. The only actual paper I tend to read in WSJ and that is not too often these days. As for sites, CNN, CNBC, WSJ, FOX, my local newspaper's site and I have a few custom google searches that send an email alert at the end of the day.

I set BBC.co.uk as my home page, but I find the most relevant information comes by way of facebook or the guy on the street corner with the sandwich board. Not much escapes those streams. Of course, the story isn't entirely fleshed out. Based on what I most recently heard, Miley Cyrus did a strip tease for the NRA the other night (no citation).

B&B. The last couple major news events I've read here first.

I don't visit news sites nor the TV channels nor the newspaper.

I've heard more news via social media than I have via any other outlet.

This is a topic that is "timely" for me, as I just ancelled my newspaper. It was getting smaller and costlier ($1.50 per day!) every year. So far, I have bookmarked CNN and Yahoo! news, but I am missing my local news.

I enjoy reading the Wall Street Journal and DealBook for business news and ESPN for sports news. For general news, I enjoy the Associated Press, Google News, BBC, and Tagesschau (German news show). I like Google News because it pulls stories from all different types of news websites.

EDIT: If you are looking for a homepage, I like igHome. You could have multiple news RSS feeds on there. That is a lot easier than going to multiple news websites every day.

RT....the best for exposing what Americas controlled and filtered media refuse to expose...Democracy Now ,NPR are acceptable.....BBC and Al-Jazeera have become too corporate.

I am a news junkie!! I literally have my iPhone full of every news app I can find. I usually look at my local newspapers apps first then go to the major news networks.

HuffPost, Daily Beast, TPM, local newspaper website. A few Facebook feeds, but mostly FB is mind candy to me. And I check B&B to learn when those promised new Capt's Choice products will be available!

I don't go for news as much analysis. As such, I go to WSJ, National Review, Reason and wherever the inimitable Thomas Sowell, Charles Krauthammer and Jonah Goldberg are writing.
