First place I looked ... nothing in the cream. I heard the soap is crummy so I never tried it.

I have it in the soap and it's not bad , or at least the one I got wasn't bad...

To clarify, my bar of Baume.Be simply does not hold lather - it's pretty useless for me. One of maybe 3 duds I have purchased.
If one were looking to try and salvage it, I guess you could grate the bar and add Scentsless CK6 by PAA
Personally I'd rather chuck it and try the hard cream

I've only used Baume.be cream... and it's in a 3 soap rotation for me... it's luxurious. I've read here that previous formulas of this cream were better but I'm a newbie so I've only used the current version.... but I love it.

Wow I just got one two weeks ago. I did get the last one available at Maggard's. I had just finished a jar of St James of London Tonka and Tobacco flower. I like to keep one cream on hand. Get a jar of St. James of London it is great.

Last fall the Baume.be company changed hands. Maybe some turmoil going on.
The new owners had emailed me to say they were aware of the hard soap lathering problem. A reformulated version would be launched this year.
Shaving soaps need potassium to lather. Soaps containing only sodium, like the Baume.be soap, do not lather. The cream is outstanding however.

I Tried it too. Shipping is more than the cream. There is no cost if you pick it up yourself.
