When in France.

Do like the French! I figured since I was here I'd treat myself to some fine shaving accoutrements.



I'm pretty fortunate to have been able to find the MdC Fougère as Planète Rasoir was out and wasn't sure when he'd be receiving more. It turns out there's a family thing happening at MdC headquarters and they are not sure whe they'll be producing it again.

So I went to Printemps and there was one left! Buddy at Printemps said they are not sure when they'd be getting more. Simply bought it because of all the hype here but it smells amazing! Can't wait to try it when I get back to Canada!

What will the next week and a half bring?

You should buy several cheap Monsavon soaps (around 1.2 €/pc), Mennen Green Tonic AS, and Gillette Extra Bleu blades, these are the most commonly availlable (only in France) shaving items in supermarket.

+1on the Monsavon. Very reasonable and can be bought at Carrefour stores. I also purchased some Williams cream which is inexpensive and nice.
